Since the pandemic began, the library has been closed, but the loan service continues. A few days ago the library communicated to the residents of the latest news that it has acquired both for adults, young people, and for children.

Therefore, for people who are interested and still do not know the new way of working, we describe the procedure here.

All residents who are members, an essential requirement, can access the books, dvds or cds available at the local library by calling the phone number 681 175 113 or sending a WhatsApp, or, writing to [email protected] These are the contacts to become a member in case the person concerned is not.

Books are collected and returned at the town hall office, but in some cases (when there are mobility problems or others) they are taken home or in some cases they have even been deposited in the adult room. The loan is for three weeks.

In addition to the books in the municipal library, if you have reading devices, you can download books or films available in the eliburutegia system for free. If you don’t have a reading device, the local library has three to lend.

For the download it is also essential to be a member of the system. Those interested in becoming members can contact the library at the address [email protected] You will be sent a document to fill out shortly and once you have registered you will be sent the username and password that will be used for any library of the Network of Libraries of Euskadi.

The duration of the e-book loans is 21 days. You can have up to a maximum of 4 books at a time. The borrowed book will be accessible on up to 6 devices and 6 computers simultaneously. The duration of movie and audiovisual loans may be 72 or 48 hours, depending on the distributor. 2 movies a week can be borrowed. If before requesting an article you want to know the fund of our library or of any of the community, you can access with the username and password mentioned above. In case of having any problem, they should contact the town hall.

The most borrowed books in this last stage have been: between 0 and 7 years old, Nafarroako Erraldoien istoriak from the Kilikids collection. Those between 8 and 12 have chosen titles from the Onin collection. Those of 12-15 have read the club of the Red Shoes. The trilogy of the White City and Miñan has been the most demanded books among adults. The City Council is very interested in the contributions and requests of the readers to take them into account at the time of acquisition. For this reason, they encourage people to get to know the books and material in the library and to share their interests with them in order to provide a closer service.
