Javier de la Gándara’s “Okofen” defends its leadership tomorrow at the head of the J80 Winter League, on the third day -the second effective after the cancellation of the first due to lack of wind- which will be played in Baiona.
The three scheduled tests will serve to define the classification a little more, since if the forecast is fulfilled -winds from the north of about 9 knots and peaks of up to 14- and the sixth round is reached, a discard will come into play, a movement that will allow teams to remove their worst result from the standings.
Javier de la Gándara’s “Okofen” leads the standings with 4 points, two less than Juan Carlos Ameneiro’s “Alboroto” and four than Manel Cunha’s “Marías”. The day is scheduled to start at 3:00 p.m. and the forecast indicates that the north wind will blow strongly. Therefore, it will be a demanding day for all the participating crews.
