Bitcoin was conceived in the late 2000s and began as a form of digital currency, but it is more of an asset that is generated through the work of mining which consists not only in conceiving “new currencies” of this type but also in validating transactions by connecting them to existing ones.
The “useful” structure of Bitcoin is in fact that of a resource used in digital environments, therefore it is something economical in all respects, but compared to other types, there is no bank or state that can act directly on the control or on the value of the latter. Even if what is sold and purchased through the now widespread portals of trading corresponds to the currency “obtained” through mining (an operation that requires a large amount of energy, being carried out by numerous computers connected on the same network) is known by the name of BTC, this structure is often referred to simply as Bitcoin
BTC are therefore “rewards” developed from intense mining work, and not being literally considered as economic currencies, the value tends to increase or decrease depending on the interest of investors, and as demonstrated by recent history , even just consulting the last 5 years, the history of Bitcoin is literally dotted with important “ups and downs”, that the currency which has reached very high valuations in relation to the initial value, but has also “collapsed” in a significant way.
In recent weeks, in many nations such as Argentina, in various parts of Africa as well as in Turkey, the diffusion of Bitcoin is increasing and today a single BTC is worth around 35 thousand dollars, a rapidly rising value in a few days (for months was found between 20 and 25 thousand euros on average).
