The official cabinet “Glavchev 2” took power – 2024-08-27 08:13:44

Dimitar Glavchev’s second official cabinet was sworn in at the National Assembly and thus officially assumed power.

The “Glavchev 2” Cabinet has three new faces, the most important change being that of Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov with Atanas Ilkov. The candidacy of the latter provoked criticism from PP-DB, who consider him to be related to Delyan Peevski.

After the solemn oath, the anthems of Bulgaria and the European Union were played in the parliament hall.

Here are the new ministers, most of whom retain their posts from the first Glavchev cabinet:

Minister of Internal Affairs – Atanas Ilkov

Minister of Regional Development and Public Works – Violeta Koritarova

Minister of Labor and Social Policy – Ivaylo Ivanov

Minister of Defense – Atanas Zapryanov

Minister of Foreign Affairs – Ivan Kondov

Minister of Justice – Maria Pavlova

Minister of Education and Science – Galin Tsokov

Minister of Health – Galya Kondeva

Minister of Culture – Nayden Todorov

Minister of Environment and Water – Petar Dimitrov

Minister of Agriculture and Food – Georgi Tahov

Minister of Transport and Communications – Krasimira Stoyanova

Minister of Economy and Industry – Petkov Nikolov

Minister of Innovation and Growth – Rosen Karadimov

Minister of Energy – Vladimir Milanov
