For the first of these charges, he could be sentenced to a maximum of five years in prison, for the second and third, 20 years in prison, respectively, and for the fourth, ten years.
The strategy of the Prosecutor’s Office is for the trial to be held as soon as possible and if it were to start early next year it would take place before the other two criminal proceedings that the former president is facing.
