This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his video message.
“The current offensive of the invaders in Donbas can make this region deserted. They want to turn Popasnaya, Bakhmut, Lyman, Lysychansk, Severodonetsk into ashes. Like Volnovakha, Mariupol. In cities and communities closer to the border of Russia, in Donetsk, in Lugansk, they who can fill the place of the killed and wounded in the occupying contingent. All this, including the deportation of our people and the massacres of civilians, is an obvious policy of genocide that Russia is implementing,” the head of state said.
He also commented on yesterday’s shelling of Kharkov.
