According to the statement, three professional and two volunteer HZS rescuers were sitting in the car, heading for injured tourism to Poludňový Grúň. All rescuers were injured, one of them in serious condition. A second group of rescuers had to go to the injured tourist after the accident.

According to the topky.sk website, two of the volunteer rescuers were released home after the treatment. A severely injured rescuer operated is out of danger. The other two remain in the hospital, doctors monitor their health.
