The ocean minesweeper Kovrovets was destroyed by the Protection Forces – Ukrainian information

On the night time of Sunday, Might 19, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the mission 266-M minesweeper of the Russian Black Sea Fleet “Kovrovets”, the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported to Fb.

Sea minesweeper “Kovrovets” in 1974 it grew to become a part of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. It’s designed for guiding vessels behind trawls, management and reconnaissance trawling.

Earlier, the speaker of OK “Yug” Dmitry Pletenchuk reported that the Ukrainian army had disabled a few third of the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet for the reason that starting of the full-scale invasion. Because of this, it was potential to revive civil transport within the water space, which is critically necessary for Ukraine’s exports.
