Artillery fire from only one of the Ukrainian brigades destroyed more than five columns of enemy equipment and manpower.

The Russian occupiers have slowed down the pace of the offensive, but they still continue to attempt offensives in certain areas. About it informs General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“During the air offensive operation, the enemy continued inflicting fire damage on military and civilian airfields, command and control posts (forces), air defense system facilities, important critical infrastructure facilities, settlements and units in defense areas,” the message says.

It is noted that the enemy, in violation of the norms of International Humanitarian Law, launched a missile attack on residential buildings in Zhytomyr and Chernihiv.

The General Staff added that all attempts by the Russian invaders to achieve the goal of the military operation failed.

“It is possible to successfully repel the attacks of battalion tactical groups even at the approaches, forcing the enemy to abandon the offensive. As of today, more than 5 columns of enemy equipment and enemy manpower have been destroyed by artillery fire from only one of the Ukrainian brigades,” the military emphasizes.

It is noted that the enemy is demoralized and suffers heavy losses. There were frequent cases of desertion and disobedience.

It was also reported that on February 27 the airport in Zhytomyr was hit by a missile attack from Belarus.
