The occupiers in the Kherson region are trying to equip a pontoon crossing across the Dnieper after the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Antonovsky bridge. This was announced on Friday, July 22, by the first deputy head of the Kherson Regional Council Yuriy Sobolevsky in Telegram.
“The invaders are working on organizing a pontoon crossing in the Kherson region, for which they conducted a survey of several sections of the Dnieper,” Sobolevsky said.
He noted that the Russians are also trying to search the Moscow archives for design documentation for the Antonovsky Bridge for its repair.
“With the design documentation for the Antonovsky Bridge, which they have just begun to look for in the Moscow archives, it is not yet taking shape, and without it, it will not be possible to quickly prepare a restoration work plan, and the result will be so-so,” Sobolevsky wrote.
