A presenter known from radio and TV Sami Kuronen50, talks about the vasectomy performed on him, i.e. male sterilization, in the Gogi kantabari podcast. Kuronen underwent the operation four years ago after much deliberation.

He has a 15-year-old daughter from his previous marriage Anu Vallin with. Kuronen says he realized that he doesn’t want to experience everyday life as a baby anymore.

– I thought about it in such a way that it somehow feels easier and liberating, that I don’t have to worry about it anymore, that what if an accident happens. However, I’m starting to be that age already, says Kuronen in the podcast.

Kuronen says that the operation was painless, but the moment was awkward. The woman who worked as a nurse recognized the man from the Temptation Island Suomi program.

– Of course, the places are cleaned in a way before that operation. There I was lying on the couch with my pants in knots and he was washing my bags. Then he started talking about the Temppars and casually asking what was up with those couples. I thought, well, this is it, says Kuronen.

The presenter did not take it into account.

– On the other hand, it was a good ice breaker. I didn’t think about that operation anymore, I just thought about how to get out of this conversation as elegantly as possible, says Kuronen.
