In recent days, tens to hundreds of lung ventilators have been heading to the Czech Republic as humanitarian aid. On Monday, 45 devices arrived from Austria and 150 from Hungary, and on Sunday 30 from the European Union’s crisis stocks. It also includes the delivery of 105 fans from the Netherlands. Another about 60 fans are to be sent to the Czech Republic by the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO).

182 CoroVent lung ventilators, developed in the spring in cooperation with the Czech Technical University and produced with money from a charity collection, could also help in hospitals. The government has ordered more than 500 of these devices since the spring, delivered some to hospitals and some remained in the State Material Reserves.
