The number of prisoners in New York falls to an all-time low

In the corona pandemic, the prisons are in the metropolis New York as empty as it has been for more than 70 years. The number of prison inmates fell to below 4,000 in the past week – the lowest level since the 1940s, said Mayor Bill de Blasio on Tuesday.
