The number of new infections in the canton of Bern falls to 41

41 people in the canton of Bern tested positive for the corona virus within one day. The canton announced on Monday. It’s the lowest number in months.

There were still 95 Covid patients in the hospital on Monday, ten fewer than in the last survey on Friday. 14 patients were in the intensive care unit. Eleven of them needed artificial respiration.

Another person died as a result of a Covid disease. There have been 985 deaths in the canton of Bern since the beginning of the pandemic.
