The Jewish agency Sokhnut has counted the number of Jews around the world at 15.2 million.
At the same time, less than half of all Jews live in Israel itself.
We are talking about those who consider themselves Jews and do not identify themselves with another religion. If you take into account all those who are eligible for Israeli citizenship, the number rises to 25.3 million people, of which 7.3 million live in Israel, and 18 million – outside of it.
Most Jews live: Israel – 6.93 million, USA – 6 million, France – 446,000, Canada – 393,500, Great Britain – 292,000, Argentina – 175,000, Russia – 150,000, Germany – 118,000, Australia – 118 000, Brazil – 91,500.
There are 43,000 Jews living in Ukraine.
