Gang Yes is one of the main conglomerates in Singapore, founded by the gaming and e-commerce company Sea Limited. He founded this company with Forrest Li and David Chen in 2009.
Reporting from the official website of Sea Limited, Monday (26/8/2024), Gang Ye is a Bachelor degree graduate in Computer Science and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
After graduating, he worked for the global agricultural company, Wilmar International. After that, he also worked at the Singapore Economic Development Corporation before finally joining Sea construction.

He has been listed as a member of the company’s board of directors since 2010. He was previously the Chief Technology Officer. Only from 2017 until now, Gang Ye has been the Chief Operating Officer of Sea Limited.
“Gang Ye is one of our founders and has been a member of our company’s board of directors since March 2010,” the company wrote on its official website.
“Gang has been our Chief Operating Officer since January 2017 and served as our Chief Technology Officer between March 2010 and December 2016,” Sea Limited reiterated.
Due to his position as Chief Operating Officer and one of the founders of the company, Gang Ye is registered as owning shares in SEA Limited. From there, he was able to accumulate a lot of wealth, worthy of being called one of the crazy rich in Singapore.
Although it has not been revealed exactly how much Sea Limited owns Gang Ye, Forbes estimates his current wealth at US $ 3.3 billion or equivalent to Rp.
Due to his wealth, Gang Ye is currently the 25th richest person in Singapore. Then according to Forbes daily real-time report, on Monday (26/8) Gang Ye is also ranked as the 1,054th richest crazy in the world.
