The Syrian Ministry of Health announced, “The death toll from the earthquake has risen to 326 deaths and 1,042 injuries, in the governorates of Aleppo, Latakia, Hama and Tartous.”
In a statement, it indicated that “the emergency management room in the Ministry of Health is assessing the situation in a timely and proactive manner, and the continuous response is being coordinated in the various governorates,” explaining that “all public and private health facilities are on constant alert in all governorates.” He pointed out that “medical convoys were sent from the Damascus, Rif Dimashq, Quneitra, Homs, and Tartous health directorates to Aleppo and Lattakia, and 28 ambulances and 7 mobile clinics were dispatched from Damascus, Rif Dimashq, Quneitra, Homs, and Tartous, as support, to Aleppo and Lattakia.”
