6:40 p.m .: 200 Creil and Compiègne hospital workers confined to their homes
About 200 hospital workers working in the hospitals of Creil and Compiègne (Oise), where two patients infected with coronaviruses stayed this week, are confined to their homes as a precaution, we learned from the CGT and the mayor from Compiègne.
At Creil hospital – which took care of the 60-year-old teacher who died on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday for six days – around thirty nurses, 24 caregivers, 15 doctors, maintenance workers, two Smur teams who managed the patient in the intensive care unit and four emergency workers who have moved from one service to another must remain at home for 14 days, said AFP Corinne Delys, secretary general of the CGT of the establishment.
“90% of the resuscitation personnel, who have 15 beds, are confined,” she said. The Hauts-de-France Regional Health Agency closed the adult resuscitation service and the continuing care unit on Wednesday until March 10 inclusive.
