In Lithuania, 3.2 thousand citizens of Belarus own real estate. This is 1.8 times more than it was a year ago. Such data is provided by the Baltic News Service (BNS) portal.
It is specified that during the year the Belarusians made about 1.5 thousand transactions in the market. The total value of real estate owned by citizens of Belarus is estimated at 170 million euros. Almost half of the real estate owned by Belarusians is apartments, 13% – land plots, 8% – residential buildings. Most often in 2022, Belarusians bought Lithuanian real estate in Vilnius and Klaipeda.
As of February 2023, Belarusian companies and organizations have 23 real estate objects in Lithuania, a year ago there were 14 of them. Basically, these are non-residential premises.
