The number of active corona cases in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district is falling – Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district

The number of protected active corona cases in the district is falling compared to the previous week. The district office of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald reported 76 active cases on Thursday.

These people have become infected with the Sars-Cov-2 virus and are considered to be potentially contagious. A week ago the number of estimated active cases was 112. In the city of Freiburg the number of active cases is 73, a week ago 82.

The so-called seven-day incidence has also decreased. It shows how many new infections were reported within a week and per 100,000 inhabitants. In the district, the 7-day incidence is 12.2 and in the city of Freiburg 13. With 35 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants, the state recommends increased protective measures. This includes, for example, wearing a face-to-face mask in school lessons, restricting the number of people in restaurants to outdoor dining or restricting the number of people in retail stores.
