Apple has announced the results of the first quarter of its 2023 fiscal year, and now the company can boast of two billion active devices, as well as the best-ever revenue from Apple services.
The financial year of the company is different from the calendar year, so the results of the first quarter of 2023 already ended on December 31, 2022, but this does not change the essence of the matter. The milestone of two billion active devices was reached this past quarter. This includes iPhones, iPads, Macs, and all other products.
It is true that Apple does not disclose the breakdown by specific product groups. Among them, the company’s CFO boasted the best results in the service sector, despite the global economic downturn. This once again confirms that Apple once made a smart move by getting involved in the development of various subscription services in order to circulate even more money from its customers.
Two billion active devices is an Apple record. Previously, in January 2022, it was 1.8 billion, and within a year the increase has been 200 million. Here, however, the question remains unanswered, what are the criteria for the device to be considered active. However, it appears that these good results have boosted the share value in recent days.
