The notices came as early as 2006 – yet the municipal doctor was allowed to keep his job

FROSTA (Aftenposten): Several women notified about photography and massage of the abdomen in 2006. 16 years later, the doctor first received the municipality’s support – and then was fired due to similar notifications.

Only around 2,600 inhabitants live on the peninsula that makes up Frosta municipality.

He who took in many of the residents when they were at their most vulnerable, was a GP and municipal chief medical officer. Now he is charged by the police with having abused his position to obtain sexual relations.

The doctor has pleaded not guilty to the charge. He also disagrees with the suspension from the Norwegian Health Authority.

Today, there are 61 victims in the case. But the first notifications came long before.

We are going back in time 17 years.

The GP, who has now been fired and charged, worked at the doctor’s office at Frosta.
