The Norwegian Food Safety Authority is only authorized to follow up on 1 in 5 animal concerns. Now private individuals have to help.

This fall, the Norwegian food safety authority is testing whether private individuals from the animal welfare board can inspect people with pets. Not including the Norwegian Food Safety Authority inspectors.

The Norwegian Food Safety Authority and the Animal Welfare Council will go on a mission. A new concern report has been received and should be prioritized.

When Anne and Elizabeth from the Animal Welfare Council show up at the Norwegian Food Safety Authority early one morning in Oslo, it is to attend an inspection of a house with pets and a large farm.
