“The Northport Hotel: A Luxurious Retreat with Only 26 Rooms”

In the center of Northport Village on Long Island, New York, the first luxury hotel with only 26 rooms, a fine-dining restaurant for 175 diners, will open in August.

It is located on Main Street, near the port, in front of the John W. Engeman Theater, also surrounded by shops, art galleries, and the Northport Museum, among other entertainment venues.

The Northport Hotel will soon receive bookings, co-owner Kevin O’Neill said, adding that the project is the culmination of years of thought, planning and construction on the property.

The hotel is approximately 45 minutes from the historic JFK and LaGuardia airports; and 30 minutes from Long Island Islip MacArthur Airport, about 1 hour and a half from New York City; 1 1/2 hours from Greenwich, Connecticut.

The hotel will offer approximately 130 rooms on 10 floors, and will transfer the design of the original located in Aspen open since 1989 to the Big Apple hotel.
