/ world today news/ One year has passed since the commissioning of the Belgrade – Novi Sad section of the railway line connecting the Serbian capital with Budapest, Hungary.

“The normal operation of the section in the past year shows that the standards, equipment, construction and management of Chinese railways meet EU requirements. The line from Serbia to Hungary is an important project under the Belt and Road Initiative, which is related to the European development strategy, as well as tying Chinese railway technology and equipment to relevant EU technology standards,” said Zhu Guojiang, representative to the management of the company China Railway International Co., Ltd.

The railway line between Hungary and Serbia has a total length of 350 km and a designed maximum speed of 200 km/h.
