GOODBYE TO THE MYTHICAL V6, ELECTRIFIED HEIRS?

So why will European customers have to say goodbye to such power? Simply because the aforementioned Regulation, approved in 2014 and entered into force on 1 July 2016, starting from 1 July 2022 imposes the noise limit in terms of decibels between 70 and 78 decibels. Therefore, the Nissan GT-R equipped with the 570 HP 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 is not able to fall within the ranges imposed by Regulation 540/2014. With the arrival in British dealerships in the summer of 2022 of the last examples of the Nissan GT-R previously ordered by customers, the European career of this popular sports car which began in 2007. Most likely the European heir to the Nissan GT-R. will be electrified. To impose it are the regulations and the purists will have to come to terms with it. The world of cars has changed and it is no longer possible to go back in time, when the roar of a V6 represented a real joy for the ears of enthusiasts.
