The sessions of the Fujairah International Mining Forum ended with the signing of an agreement between the Fujairah Natural Resources Group and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, with the aim of increasing cooperation in development projects that support the goals of – national strategy and keeping up with the goals of the state. vision and future direction in the mining, energy, business and investment sector, in a way that supports its indicators in this year’s global competitiveness reports.
At the end of the ninth session, the forum called for concerted efforts to promote mining research and exploration, especially in minerals used in clean energy technologies, and the need to make informed decisions in the mining sector that takes into account economic, social and environmental dimensions, and to improve management by mining companies to achieve sustainable development in this area, strengthening the value chain in the mining sector, and benefiting from Arab Platform for the Future of Mines “APFM” prepared by the Arab Agency for Industrial Development, Status and Mining as the first information and interactive platform for mining and its investment opportunities in Arab area, as the second version of the platform was launched during the forum, which deals with industrial miners.
The forum was held under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, may God protect him, and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince. Fujairah, and was organized by the Fujairah Natural Resources Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and the Arab Organization for Industrial Development, Status and Mining The activities lasted for 3 days under the slogan “Mining Investment, Sustainable Development”, with the participation of a group of local and international experts and experts in the mining sector, to discuss the future of the mining sector.

The forum and accompanying exhibition saw an impressive attendance of over 1,900,000 visitors from within and outside the country, including students, workshop presenters, and participants.
The closing day of the forum included 3 discussion sessions, the first of which focused on “Sustainability and Corporate Governance.” The second session dealt with “Energy Transfer Mines,” and the third session discussed “Innovation and Digital Transformation in the Mining Sector. “
