First aid training
Last spring the Varese Committee of the Red Cross achieved in Zambia “First Aid Branch to Branch Support”a project that saw commitments its volunteers, those of Milan and the National Committee in a first aid training activity, including the supply of medical supplies and equipment necessary for the activity itself, to the sister Zambia Red Cross Society HQ in the capital Lusaka. The objective was to help strengthen the capacities of the territorial committees of the Zambian Red Cross in the field of first aid.
Dance Society it is a cultural association that studies and proposes the repertoire of nineteenth-century social dances. It carries out a historical research work in this sector combining philological precision in the interpretation of old dance manuals with the possibility of recreating, giving new life, ancient dances in contemporary social contexts.
It was born in 1991 from an idea of Fabio Mollica: to create a school and a cultural association together, with the aim of developing a social dance culture based on the study of the past, but projected into the future. Participation in the event is open to all, with free admission, for further information the contact address is cooperazione.internazionale@crivarese.it.
