Xiaomi’s Mi Band 6 is the brand’s latest proposal in the field of smartbands. Following the same path as the previous versions, it managed to reach the same level of success and was once again a success in the market.
With two versions available on the Chinese market, Europe and the rest of the planet only had access to the NFC-free version. This scenario could change soon, with the availability of the NFC version of Xiaomi’s Mi Band 6 to Europe. This has already been found in a certification and shows that it will be coming.
Launched in March of this year, Xiaomi's Mi Band 6 soon showed its qualities. The interest in this new version was great and this was evident in its sales success, both in the Chinese market and in the rest of the planet.
The brand continued its launch models and created two distinct versions of this smartband. The standard version, present in all markets and the NFC version, exclusively dedicated to the Chinese market, this happened in previous models.
The discovery of certification of Mi Band's NFC model with an Italian regulator opens the door to a possible new reality. Xiaomi will finally be able to bet on placing the NFC version of this smartband in that market and also in the rest of Europe.
The certainty that this is the NFC version seems to be simple to prove. The two versions released had as code numbers the values XMSH15HM (version without NFC) and XMSH16HM (version equipped with NFC. It is precisely the latter that appears in the certification now found.
This certification appears to follow a policy that Xiaomi has applied to its products over the years. It presents several models for its market and then gradually launches these different versions in different international markets.
