Towards the end of a longer video for Call of Duty: Vanguard, Ravens Amos Hodge was able to confirm that the new map is set for the Pacific Ocean. In terms of size, the island is similar to Verdansk, but the latter’s war-torn buildings and surroundings are replaced with what the developer describes as a more vibrant and colorful world.

The new map is scheduled to be rolled out once this autumn, along with a transition to the same game engine that Call of Duty: Vanguard uses. Raven promises full integration of Vanguard weapons, as well as support for gaming and progression across platforms and console generations.

In addition, there is a completely new solution to combat cheating in the PC version. Raven has not yet revealed how this will work, but says that the team has begun the latest tests of the system and that everything should be ready for the launch of the new Warzone experience.
