The Amicale for the voluntary blood donation of Auxonne and its region and the French Blood Establishment (EFS) are organizing a collection on Wednesday, June 23, from 2.30 pm to 7 pm, in Auxonne and not in Tillenay as originally planned .
“The next three blood drives on June 23, July 21 and August 18 will take place at the Salle du Vannois. Indeed, the village hall of Tillenay being occupied within the framework of the regional and departmental elections, it cannot be used ”, explains the president of the friendly, Anthony Dufour. “So we had to look for another room. The one in Vannois is available, so we will use it for the next three collections. We will advise for the start of the school year and the collection for the month of October. “
For June 23, 90 appointments are available. The EFS recalls that “reserves are currently low. Do not hesitate to come and donate your blood! Most collection sites offer donation by appointment to reduce waiting time and better manage the care of each donor while respecting distancing measures. Take the time to save lives ”.
Appointments can already be made on the website of the French Blood Establishment.
