Started in 1989, The Legend of Heroes is a series of JRPG signed Nihon Falcom and counting today more than a dozen episodes. The latest, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV, should arrive at our end of 2020, while a certain The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki is expected in Japan for August.
If you are a fan of this famous series, know that Nihom Falcom is not ready to drop it. Studio president Toshihiro Kondo announced during the Famitsu x Game no Dengeki Summer 2020 Live Stream Fes that the next installment in The Legend of Heroes: Trails franchise is in development. It will not be The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki II, however. Kondo has clarified that it is about a whole new environment for a new narrative arc.
