The next six actions of the Aider Autrement 28 association, in Jouy, Chartres and Lisant

Corinne Berthelot, the president, is happy to note that the first action taken at the start of the school year was a resounding success: “We collected nearly 800 school supplies. It goes from pencil cases to pens, including notebooks. We were even brought new equipment. We see that people need to find each other ”.

All these supplies will be distributed to 70 households from the Isidore solidarity grocery store, in Chartres, next Tuesday 5 and Thursday 7 October. The remaining supplies will be given to undocumented migrants in the department.

2. Telethon

From October 1, the “Jouy, Telethon 2021 village” action, in partnership with the town hall and the town’s festival committee, will take place. It will take place in several stages: first, a sale of second-hand books and surprise envelopes. The funds will then be donated to the Telethon, which will take place on December 4. On that day, Aider Autrement 28 will hold two activity centers, one at the Jouy sports complex and the other at Square Lenoir.

3. Christmas boxes

In December, the association will distribute gift boxes at the chartres solidarity grocery store, the Foyer Accueil Chartrain, the Restos du cœur and the Maraude. Last year, 170 boxes were sold.

The weekend of February 5, the Lambouray mill, in Jouy, will host an exhibition of artists and creative craftsmen. Kévin Picol, member of Aide Autrement 28, master glassmaker and speaker at GRETA Chartres, will also mobilize his students to participate.

5. Dance party

Saturday March 5, the André Malraux room in Louillard can accommodate up to 200 people (single or not!). Depending on the health situation, the pass may not be required. The entry price is set at € 18 and a glass of champagne will be offered to each person wishing to register.

6. Motorcycle ride

During June (the date has not yet been defined), the association will organize a motorbike outing open to all, in partnership with the CER Louillard-Mairie driving school. Motorcycle license compulsory and € 5 to be provided for the rental of the helmet.
