We expect the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite to be announced very soon – leaks suggest it is a more affordable edition of the premium Galaxy Tab S7 tablet, and will succeed the Galaxy Tab. S6 Lite from last year. The latest visuals unveiled also highlight a lot of similarities between the two Lite models.
These images come from leaker Evan Blass, a regular at revelations about Samsung products. Apparently, these would be promotional brochures for the upcoming tablet, sourced from Samsung’s marketing teams themselves.
According to Blass, the tablet will carry the mid-range Snapdragon 750G chip, which we recently saw inside the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. It’s a decent processor meant to serve mid-range mobile devices. It is therefore far from equaling the power of the current Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.

Samsung’s budget tablets have traditionally provided just usable processing power for surfing the web, streaming videos and performing some office tasks. So for the S7 Lite to compete with the entry-level iPad, it needs a boost.
Attention, spoilers !
The photos of the front panel of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Lite show a tablet with rather thick edges, and a repositioned photo module which is now on one side of the screen.
At the rear, we observe another distinction between the Tab S7 Lite which would have two photo lenses and the Tab S6 Lite which is content with a single sensor. We don’t know what this secondary sensor is yet, but there’s a good chance it’s a ToF model or an ultra wide angle.
If this design is less upscale than that of the Tab S7, the technical sheet of the future Lite edition displays more efficient internal components and can compete with the classic Apple iPad.
Samsung has not released a launch window for the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. Curious consumers can wait until April 28, however, when the company should announce new products.
