Premiere of models Z Flip 4 a Z Fold 4 should take place in the traditional term at the beginning of August, leaving about two months left. This is about to come, so logically there are quite a few leaks of news information. It is important that Samsung does not change the successful concept of both models, there is no reason to do so. So we’ll see fewer noticeable improvements, but some of them will delight customers if the leaks are accurate.
With the cheaper Z Flip 4, the biggest innovation will be a larger battery. The current one with a capacity of 3,300 mAh is simply insufficient. Especially if the user wants to have the variable refresh rate of the display running, he will not see dinner when using the phone more intensively. Disabling this feature is a little better, but not significantly.
Will an extra 400 mAh be enough?
The new model should have a battery with a capacity of 3,700 mAh, which is not a big increase, but perhaps it should be enough for the phone to last one day on a single charge. A larger cell will probably not fit in a small device. Another innovation is to have a smaller joint and perhaps a smaller groove in the bend of the display. The third major innovation is the external display, which should grow from the current 1.9-inch diagonal to 2.1 inches.
According to the leaked covers for the novelty, which were published by the respected escape of the Ice Universe, it follows that the design will not change fundamentally, even with the layout of the camera lenses. The resolution of both sensors should be 12 Mpix, the selfie camera will have a resolution of 10 Mpix. Although Samsung was not mentioned at the premiere of the new Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 chip, both of Samsung’s upcoming models should have this processor.
The joint is also significantly reduced at the fold
The larger Z Fold 4 model should also have a significantly smaller joint, which should bring a narrower body, at least as evidenced by some illustrations, again shown by the escape of the Ice Universe. The phone should be lower. There is a conflicting camera under the internal display. The number of display pixels above it should increase significantly, but this place will still be visible.
The inner display should be 7.6 inches and the outer 6.2 inches. We have already mentioned the processor, it will be supplemented by 12 GB of operating and 256 or 512 GB of user memory. The main camera offers three sensors: 50 Mpix, 12 Mpix wide angle and telephoto with triple zoom will have a resolution of 10 Mpix.
