The first model of this instrument was released in 1952 from a Gibson factory in Michigan, USA. The Les Paul has become over the decades a great classic of electric guitar.
The Mupop invests the medieval city of Montluçon (Allier) with activities outside the walls
The Mupop wishes to make Julien Bitoun the curator of this exhibition which will be held from July 9, 2022 to January 3, 2023. Professor at Sciences Po Paris and journalist, he is described as a specialist in the guitar in France.
At an estimated cost of 90,000 euros, the exhibition will offer several audio and video listening points, instruments loaned by professionals and collectors, as well as objects from the Mupop collections.
