“It’s a unique show with high-level shows. They are never the same artists and the numbers change every year”, specifies the director. Circassians of eight different nationalities will perform for the first time on the Saint-Paul-lès-Dax stage. If no Russian artist was present last year because of the restrictions imposed by the health crisis, they will be back this year.
The 2022 edition took place from April 15 to 18, for Easter. A long weekend, subject to many departures, which had an impact on attendance at the festival. This year, the team has decided to bring forward its big meeting to March, which should allow spectators to come in large numbers.

For four days, the performances will follow one after the other: at 8:30 p.m. from Thursday to Saturday; at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday; at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The unmissable closing gala will take place at 4 p.m.
“Technical prowess and artistic creation” are the two parameters on which the artists will be judged, as the director reminds us. The jury will attend two performances before awarding their gold, silver and bronze pinecones. Last year, the golden pine cones were awarded to the French equestrian vaulter Nagaïka Tribe, the Italian roller acrobatics duo Holler and Kimberly, and the French Chinese mast company Cirque entre nous.
