The next generation release is planned for 2021, but that’s uncertain

CD Project Red is currently working on a next-generation Cyberpunk 2077 release and it was planned from the start that this would come in 2021. We all know this will happen in late 2021, but that’s not entirely certain at this point either.

The goal is still for the upcoming Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 releases this year, but in discussions with investors, it has also been confirmed that the next-gen release won’t come until 2022.

Since it’s September now, I don’t think we’ll see that release until early 2022 after this statement. And what about the next-gen release of The Witcher, also planned for 2021?

Saber Interactive cares about that, so they are more optimistic here. Now I’m just assuming the developers will announce with The Witcher at Christmas and then with Cyperpunk 2077 in early 2022. I’m still waiting for the release of the next generation, but it should really mature.
