CD Project Red can see a little brighter on Cyberpunk 2077’s future, and so can the players.
CDPR is reorganizing while working on improvements
The big title, which was launched a year ago with thousands of errors, now receives lots of praise from players who have jumped into the dystopian sci-fi world after a series of corrections (and price cuts).
The studio now confirms that the next-generation update will be released for the Xbox Series X and S, as well as the PS5, during the first quarter of next year.
The last update came in September
At the same time, they say that this update will not come alone, but that a “new major update for all platforms” will also be launched.
The last time the game was updated was in September, so it’s probably time. Probably all the months of working on the game have yielded gains in relation to performance, and that it is not just a matter of removing errors in assignments and things like that.
CDPR also reveals that they are working on an upgraded version of The Witcher 3 for the new consoles and the first expansion to Cyberpunk.
