According to some reports, current Ajax striker Antony could well move to Manchester United as he is ready to leave Ajax to team up with Erik ten Hag. The youngster is believed to possess a similar style of play to Cristiano Ronaldo. Chances are that Ronaldo will end his spell at Old Trafford, and so, pundits believe Antony could fill his space next season.

At the top of the list, ten Hag has Antony as his first-choice transfer and Manchester United supported his decision. They have to pay a fee of £50m to buy him from Ajax.

Brazilian striker, Antony, was signed by Ajax Amsterdam in 2020 from Sao Paolo in the summer transfer and had been a crucial player in the attacking line-up. In his debut season, Antony scored nine times and assisted eight times in 31 appearances which was truly impressive.

The 22-year-old has also scored 12 goals and assisted ten times this season under Eric ten Hag in 33 appearances. After getting the upper hand on signing his player picks for Manchester United, ten Hag is keen for Antony to be in the forward line that matches his plans. Antony and Ten Hag had paired well at Ajax and now the youngster wants to advance in his career and believes this move will help him in the future.
