you say “I may be too negative about these plans”
No, you’re not too negative.
Robbert Dijkgraaf: “The next crisis is called privacy” (article December 6, 2019).
We allow ourselves to be packed more and more.
Soon only “middle of the road” behavior will be acceptable.
That will soon be determined by vending machines and by 2 million neighbors watching each other. Neighbors who themselves exhibit average behavior and who record, assess, forward, discuss and store every deviation from that “desired” behavior with all kinds of other average figures.
Or it is determined by governments that keep stretching their rights.
See what Sven Kockelman said to the former boss of the MIVD: “Do you like democracy?” That man clearly didn’t care. So that is on the verge of fascism.
And it is very creepy that there is rumbling within the CTIVD monitoring agency. That chairman Van Eijk recently stopped. That’s a very, very bad sign! They simply cannot do their job. Unheard of. Why is that bad? Because no one else controls the AIVD and the MIVD. Precisely because these services have so much power and because they are allowed to carry out everything in secret, there must be a group that controls them. That is the CTIVD. But the CTIVD’s work has been made virtually impossible. This gives the AIVD and the MIVD the opportunity to flout the laws and, given their views and what has become known, they will certainly do so.
We have a war. We must have unity in the Netherlands and in Europe. It is then that you must be able to fully rely on each other. Just THEN the games and the messing must end. We could afford that 10-20 years ago, but that is over.
I’ll just stop because I want to be able to sleep later.
