The news about Valentino Rossi making a racing team in the MotoGP class

KOMPAS.com – Rider Valentino Rossi is trying to make a racing team in the class MotoGP which is likely to be realized in 2022.

This will be the newest step after Rossi successfully formed its racing team under the label VR46 in the Moto3 and Moto2 classes.

BolaSport quotes from Racing bikeRossi’s VR46 will compete with Leopard Racing for a slot that will be released by Avintia Racing.

Avintia Racing, led by Raul Romero, is reportedly not going to participate in the 2022 MotoGP season.

Avintia Team Manager, Ruben Xaus, also did not dismiss the news.

“In the world everything can be sold, including ‘me’,” said Ruben Xaus.

“What is clear is that currently the value of our team is very different compared to two years ago,” he said.

At the end of the 2021 season, all teams’ contracts with IRTA will end so it will need to renegotiate.

This opportunity will be used by VR46 to form a new team in the MotoGP class.

Surprisingly, the VR46 was predicted to become a Suzuki or Aprilia satellite team rather than joining Yamaha.

Still according to the news Racing bike, VR46 is more inclined to be a Suzuki satellite team.

This is because Valentino Rossi has a good relationship with the Suzuki Ecstar Team Manager, Davide Brivio, who also works at VR46 as team coordinator.

Davide Brivio previously said that one team was interested in becoming a Suzuki satellite team.

“We’re talking to the people inside paddock, someone has asked us for information, “said Brivio.

When asked about Suzuki’s chances of working with VR46, Brivio replied jokingly.

“We really want a satellite team. We just need to find someone who is willing to do it with us,” he said. (Fauzi Handoko Arif)
