We filed a report with the Acting Chief Prosecutor Sarafov about potential treason against Prime Minister Denkov. The reason for this is Denkov’s cynical words “It doesn’t matter whether the Bulgarian economy will suffer or not, what matters is whether the sanctions will have a bad effect on Russia”. For us from the newly formed “Bulgaria First” civil pressure circle, this is national betrayal. This was stated by the chairman of the MIR party, Simeon Slavchev, who is part of the newly formed “Bulgaria First” group.
In the report against Prime Minister Denkov from the newly formed “Bulgaria First” circle, they point out that this statement neglects and completely disregards the national interest of Bulgaria. According to the whistleblowers, Denkov’s statement severely damages the Bulgarian economy, business and the property of Bulgarian citizens.
“The damage that Denkov is causing to Bulgaria and all Bulgarian citizens is enormous. A working and efficient Bulgarian economy should be a priority of every Bulgarian government and prime minister. Because without it, not a single policy can be realized – neither social, nor good and accessible health care and education. Because of this cynical statement of his, Denkov must bear not only political responsibility by immediately resigning as Prime Minister, but also criminal responsibility. All the objective and subjective prerequisites for qualifying Denkov as a committed crime under Art. 103 of the Penal Code, Chapter One, Section II Treason and Espionage. It is time for the prosecutor’s office to prove that it is independent and immediately open a case against Denkov. It is time for the resistance forces of the Bulgarian society to return and together to go out into the streets and squares and show that we will no longer allow anyone to mock and joke with the Bulgarian people and hand over our national interests to foreign countries and embassies.” the leader of the MIR party Simeon Slavchev and a member of the newly formed “Bulgaria First” circle also stated.
The report of treason against Denkov was submitted by Colonel Nikolay Markov, Strahil Angelov, Plamen Pavlov, Simeon Milanov, Rumyana Chenalova, Petar Nedevski, General Stoimen Stoimenov, Ivo Petrov, Simeon Slavchev, Nedyalko Nedyalkov and Nikolay Barekov, who are members of the newly formed round “Bulgaria first”.
