The New York Marathon Announces Lineup of Elite Athletes for Next Sunday’s Race

The New York Marathon to be held next Sunday, November 5, announced a list of elite athleteswhich includes 17 Olympians, 11 World Cup medalists and runners who have won the race as reigning champion Evans Chebet, Geoffrey Kamworor (2017 and 2019), Albert Korir (2021) and last year’s top six.

In the men’s race, the Ethiopian stands out by brand Mosinet Geremew, twice he has been world runner-up and twice he has been on the brink of winning a marathon, but all eyes will be on Evans Chebet, who is looking to repeat his past year with victories in Boston and New York.
