The New York marathon, one of the most important in the world, will be held again next November after the stoppage of the covid-19 pandemic with a capacity for 33,000 runners, 60% of the usual, as announced this Monday by the authorities and organization.
The governor of the state, Andrew Cuomo, pointed out that the competition can be held on November 7 as part of a progressive return to “normality” in activities for large groups of people thanks to the reduction of coronavirus infections and the increase in vaccinations.
