The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s next-generation flagship console. However, rumors periodically appear on the network about a more budget line console, code-named Lockhart. Perhaps a wide audience will be introduced under the name Xbox Series S.
Reddit user with the nickname _rogame discovered information about the new AMD hybrid processor with 8 Zen cores operating at 4 GHz, 12 GB of RAM and 4 GB of video memory. Details of the graphic component of the chip are unknown.
_rogame believes that this chip was created for the Xbox Series S (Lockhart) or the new version of APU Fireflight for the Subor Z + console. But the Subor Z + team was disbanded last year.
The 3DMARK 11 and Time Spy ratings speak about the GPU performance at the GTX 980 graphics card level and this is not very impressive. However, the private Time Spy score for the APU is much better than the first:

- R9 3900X + OC GTX 1660 Super – 7.3K
- i9 9900K + OC GTX 1660 Ti – 7.5K
If we are really talking about Lockhart, then the console will be much more productive than previously thought. It was reported that the performance of Lockhart will be at 4 teraflops, and according to the Time Spy test it is at the level of the RX 5600 XT video card, which is from 7 to 7.9 teraflops.
