Nowadays people use WhatsApp for different purposes as it allows creation of companies, payments, calls, video calls, sending audio, localization and even creation of groups without contacts other than ourselves to facilitate access to important information. Incidentally, this last feature has attracted the attention of the company responsible for the app, Meta, which promised news.
Do you want to know what the company’s plans are and what news it is preparing? So keep following us below so you don’t miss any important information that we have separated for you!
Form a group with yourself
Basically, creating a group with ourselves is a way to use a simpler notebook or folder to store information, files, important content and anything else that comes to mind. The idea came mainly because the app allows for fast typing, easy access, and high information storage capacity, all in a very efficient way.
Basically, the group with one person is very useful in everyday life, allowing the creation of shopping lists, drafts, reminders, links that cannot be lost, among others. Because of this, many people even put groups at the top of conversations, such is the need to use them.

How will the novelty work?
The specialized portal of WhatsApp, WABetaInfo, has confirmed that the development phase of the new update has ended, which indicates that the next step is to test the functionality in the beta version. A good portion of the public already has access to the version so that developers can see what improvements need to be made before the official launch, available for both Android and iOS.
Basically, on the main screen of version 2.22.24.2 there is a button with a speech bubble icon highlighted in the lower right corner. By clicking on it, the user can view the “Contacts on WhatsApp” area, which will very soon have the option “You” or “You”. In this way, by clicking on the bubble, the user will be able to start conversations with himself in a chat visible only to him.
The best way to designate the new feature is through a one-on-one chat that only the account owner will have access to, therefore eliminating the need to create a group just for that. However, creating groups will still be available for those who wish to keep blocks. The officialization of the feature for all users has not been confirmed yet, but it is believed that it will be officially announced soon.
For now, users can still use individual groups to continue sharing important content as it won’t be deleted. It is worth mentioning that the application has recently released several other features, such as the recent ability to remove the “online” status so that no one knows that you are active in the messenger.
