Volkswagen is attracting the second generation of Amarok through design features that are supposed to be close to the serial form.

Volkswagen began mass production of the first Amarok in 2010. The name has its origins in the North American Inuit. Amarok means “wolf” in their language. More than 815,000 cars have been sold in twelve years.
