The new update for Windows 11 solves two inconveniences

Microsoft its system Windows 11 regularly updates and thus logically improves it. However, not every update is without problems. After the latter, users complain that their File Explorer stops working. Fortunately, the American company reacted relatively quickly and released an update with the label KB5015882which is supposed to solve these problems.

In Windows 11, File Explorer stops working in some situations

The file explorer is said to crash in two cases. The first is the situation when you press the play/pause buttons directly on the keyboard (if you have them) and secondly if you call up the context menu at Start (either by clicking the right button or using the Win+X keyboard shortcut) and at the same time you have an external monitor connected to your laptop.

These two situations are by no means improbable and trouble a relatively large number of users. At the moment, however, it is only available in preview versions, so most users will only get it in early August.

How satisfied are you with Windows 11 so far?
