In a brand new trailer – which you can see at the top of the article – CD Projekt promises, among other things, 4K resolution for both the figures and the other models. A separate mode with 60 frames per second is coming to consoles, while ray tracing features and DLSS support will not be missing on PC.

In addition to the visual updates, the update offers a number of options to adjust the game experience and user interface. A new camera angle will be added, the map will have more filtering options, and in battle it will be easier to use Geralt’s various features. Cross-platform play is now possible, on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

The pack also includes brand new content inspired by The Witcher series on Netflix. This includes new armor and weapons and a separate mission that allows you to unlock innovations.

The game update otherwise deals a major blow to accessibility. Here you can change the size of the subtitles and pause the game during movie sequences. CD Projekt has also promised that some of these features will also come to versions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, but at the moment it is not clear exactly how this will happen.

Currently, CD Projekt RED is working on several The Witcher projects: One of the projects is a “remake” of the first game in the series. Furthermore, the company has started working on a new trilogy.
